Our Story 	The story of Chrissy and I is one of laughter, adventure, love, temptation, passion, and joy. Many don't know but we met years ago when she was simply another F-35 maintainer coming through one of my classes. Little did I know that this student would eventually become my love, purpose, addiction, and soon to be my wife.&nbsp; Little did I know she was purposely failing refresher tests so she could come back through my class. Oblivious me had no clue. I was trying to educate another student. As many know we both went through some heartache around the exact same time and found ourselves out in the big world of online dating. I saw her pop up one day and had no clue she was single. I was in a conundrum. I didn't want to be unprofessional but knew I couldn't wait. So, I sent a message. I didn't get a reply, so I sent another. Anyone who knows me knows I can be persistent. I was ignored again. If you ask her, she'll claim that she never saw the requests. The struggle is real in the online dating world as a female having all those requests to sort through. Lol.&nbsp;Me being me I knew there was no way I was simply being ignored. I pondered the idea of sending her a Facebook message since we were friends there for years. To say I was nervous is an understatement.&nbsp;I went ahead and pushed send on that date request, and that's when I got my first yes! That yes led to our first date which proceeded to challenge me in a way I wasn't used to. She beat me at axe throwing! &nbsp;Now everyone knows how competitive I am. I met my match!!! Not only did I absolutely love this quality in her, but I realized how much I enjoyed being challenged.&nbsp;She made being competitive fun again!&nbsp;This date led to many more.&nbsp;We seemingly couldn’t wait to be back out doing something fun.&nbsp;I was soon introduced to her greatest gift, Harry.&nbsp;This little guy has turned out to be my greatest gift from her.&nbsp;He’s such a sweet, kind, considerate, fun, and funny little kid.&nbsp;He makes me smile every morning, and I’ve learned I never get tired of hearing “Hey, Shawn…….”.&nbsp;Our friendship quickly ignited a fire in me that I hadn’t felt in a very long time.&nbsp;It quickly turned into an inferno that I couldn’t extinguish.&nbsp;I realized I wanted her to be by my side from now on.&nbsp;She’s beautiful, intellectual, mechanically inclined, athletic, passionate, loyal, and most of all she’s mine!!&nbsp;I began the process of picking out the perfect ring and then planning the event to pop the question.&nbsp;I told nobody.&nbsp;Not a sole knew what I was thinking, let alone planning.&nbsp;Everything was coming together perfectly.&nbsp;We had the Knights game tickets.&nbsp;Friends and family were in town.&nbsp;Then the night came.&nbsp;I submitted the request to post the question, but never received confirmation that it would be posted.&nbsp;I sat through the first two hockey periods unsure of what would happen.&nbsp;I’m ready, I have the ring, but will the question be posted on the big screen, will she say yes, will everyone be in place, and how do I keep all of them from getting up to grab beers or hitting the restroom?&nbsp;I had a million things racing through my head during that second intermission.&nbsp;Then the question “Will you marry me Cutie” popped up on the jumbotron of the Golden Knights hockey game.&nbsp;I quickly turned to my friends sitting behind me and handed them my phone.&nbsp;One of them quickly saw what was on the screen and began to scream.&nbsp;I pulled out the ring, got down on my knee in front of 16,000 people who felt like they were all watching, and asked the question.&nbsp;She was shocked, but all I heard was YES!!!&nbsp;The arena let out a cheer that I’ll never forget.&nbsp;People bought us souvenirs to remember the night, and my takeaway was this girl deserves the world.&nbsp;I want to make her feel like she’s living a fairytale.&nbsp;Since that day our life has been full of love, laughter, exploration, passion, and adventure.&nbsp;Planning the wedding has been so much fun.&nbsp;We’re both putting everything we have into making this a true celebration of each of our lives, celebrating our friends and family, and most importantly treating this as a launching pad for wherever this life takes us.&nbsp;	&nbsp;XOXOMr. Shawn Whittemore	&nbsp;

Katie is my longest friend, we met though basketball when I was a junior and she was a freshman. She begged me not to leave for the Air Force, but I was never good at listening to her cause the last time I tried to I couldn’t count the money in my hands.

Dawson here was my first ever troop I truly enjoyed teaching and getting to know, to the point now Harry doesn’t stop talking about the one time she babysat him.

Hallie here is my ride or die, I need to vent, “jAcObs” I want to laugh, “jAcObs”. She is always there and we share a brain cell so it’s easier to understand one another.

Katie and Shawn go back to around 1994.  Yup we go way back.  Those who know her and I know the bond that we share.  I'd do anything for her, and know that she'd do the same. We've supported each other through many ups and downs over the decades yet know that nothing keeps us down.  We're here to ensure the other never fails.  I thank her for bringing her two amazing boys into my life, and allowing me to share in what her and Ben have created.  I've enjoyed every second of time we share over the last 30 plus years (yes I had to put that number somewhere).  Thank you for standing beside my fiancé and I, and for being an amazing mom, wife, sister, and friend.

One half of Double Trouble!  Harry is the blessing that Chrissy provided me with.  This little guy is so considerate, supportive, curious, silly, and fun.  I can't wait to see who he becomes as he gets older and look forward to supporting whatever dream he has. I didn't realize how much I'd enjoy the constant "Hey, Shawn........." but understand I gained his trust, and I vow to never lose it.  There's no better duo than Harry and Walter to secure our rings.  Thanks big guy!!!

One half of Double Trouble!  Walter is the gift that my sister Shannon gave me.  Some might think this little guy is shy, quiet, and bashful, but he's such a sweet, caring, thoughtful, silly, and fun nephew.  I treasure every second we have together, and can't wait to watch him and Harry grow up together.  There's no better duo than Walter and Harry to secure our rings.  Thanks big guy!!!

Walter

Scott is my brother.  We first met when he came onto the F-35 program back in like 2005 or 06 I believe.  We've known each other for decades and been there for each other through lots of ups and downs.  He's challenged me in ways no other person has, and he forever has my support and respect.  I value his word more than he knows. FYI He has plenty of stories to tell about me.  Lol.  Thank you for being my Best Man!

Scott Foster

Chris & I like all my groomsman are brothers to me.  Like many in my party we bonded through cars a long time ago.   This friendship grew into a bond that I treasure.  I value his knowledge and appreciate more than he knows his unwavering support. He's one of the hardest working guys I know, and he always has my back, and for that he always has my support.  He built his own successful business, and a beautiful family.  Thank you for standing by my side brotha!

Chris Rose

Anthony and I met years ago while I lived on the road and constantly rented cars from Enterprise.  He and I then discovered a mutual friend of ours was Chris Rose.  We already had plenty in common and found ourselves hanging out, partying, riding dirt bikes, building, and racing cars.  Anthony is an unbelievable human being.  He's selfless, dedicated to his family, and literally is the person to give you his shirt if needed.  He has to be in this party!  Thank you for standing by my side!

Where do I begin with Ronci?  He and I met at a random car show back around 2011.  We quickly realized we had a lot in common.  Not only cars, but music, and our passion for all things horror.  He's the most talented artist that I know (Maybe his talented daughter has him beat).  We've been there for each other without question and shared some pretty memorable nights.  When Ronci aka Johnny Rose (I'll let him introduce him) and I get together something fun is sure to happen!  Thank you for standing by my side brotha!!

Quinton is the son I never had.  I couldn't be prouder of who he's becoming as a new Non-Commissioned Officer in the United States Air Force.  He's someone who's navigated life trying to appease those around him, but fails to see how proud everyone is.  I couldn't be prouder to have him standing by my side at this time.  Thank you brotha!!

Quinton Smith aka Andrew Garfield

Daniel is Daniel.  I love this kid like he's my own.  I treasure the moments when we're together and he starts telling me about something I knew nothing about, or starts questioning random moments in history that fascinate him.  He challenges me and keeps me on my toes like no other kid.  He's becoming a respected young man, and the only option to take care of the loved ones during this ceremony.  Thank you for supporting Chrissy and I brotha!

Daniel Galles

Ben and I met years ago when Katie called me up giddy as can be about a man she recently met.  She wanted me to come up to Reno and meet him.  Scott Foster and I jumped in the truck and drove up to see who this guy was.  I quickly understood what all the hype was about.  This is the man that shows up, needs no introduction, often stands to the side, but knows the show is his at any moment.  He's challenged only by Mr. Rose with his work ethic, and his dedication to his family is not only noticed, but respected beyond measure.  He's been there for me, supported me, and taught me lessons I didn't know I still had to learn.  Thank you for taking care of Katie, Quinton, and Daniel.  You don't hear it enough, but GREAT FUCKING JOB!!  There's nobody else Chrissy and I would rather have to hold us accountable, and send us off on our journey together.  Thank you brotha!
